The students meeting group organizes the annual Swiss interuniversity PhD and doctoral students meeting of the SSTMP since the year 2000. The meeting allows all PhD and doctoral students who work in the fields of parasitology or tropical medicine in Switzerland to present their projects to other students, discuss their work, and expand their Swiss network in the field. These meetings contribute to the formation of a close national network, which is important for development of the students’ careers.
